Tiffani Phelps, MPH

Tiffani Phelps, MPH, Board Member, joined the Divas, MPH Board of Directors in October of 2010. She is currently a health communication specialist for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Her primary responsibilities include supporting a variety of communications projects, conducting formative evaluations, and developing and testing messages and materials with the general public.

She has over 5 years of experience in program development and implementation, and has 2 years of clinical research experience.

Before joining CDC, she was a Program Consultant with the Georgia Department of Community Health, Office of Health Promotion and Disease Prevention. Tiffani was assigned to the Georgia Adolescent Health & Youth Development Program, where she provided guidance, technical assistance and training to state grantees. She has over 5 years of experience in program development and implementation, and has 2 years of clinical research experience. Tiffani has a Bachelor of Science in Family Community Services, with a specialization in Health Promotion, from Michigan State University, and a Master of Public Health in Policy and Management from Rollins School of Public Health of Emory University. She was recently invited to be a member of the Biltmore Who’s Who of Executives and Professionals in the Greater Atlanta area.

Outside of her public health career, Tiffani has started two businesses, one of which focuses on empowering teen girls to make healthy decisions. She also serves as a mentor with Youth Connections, Inc of Atlanta.
